It is once again a New Years Resolution of mine to do more personal writing & publishing, and to once again try to revive my blog. I’ve tried this before, but am now feeling like there’s enough going on that I have interesting things to document and share.

One problem has continually challenged me in publishing and writing things, especially outside of work or school, is the pressure to only share something when it’s complete (read: perfect). Nothing is ever perfect, there’s always room for improvement, better word choice, or other editorial choices to spend hours on end agonizing over. Not this time.

This blog is not intended to be perfect. Frankly - it’s really not intended to be shared or read by anyone other than me. This is a personal challenge to let the words flow more easily, share my reflections, and document the things I’m working on.

In the articles I do publish, there is going to be little to know consistency.

Some of the topics I may or may not write about include:

  • thoughts on politics, culture, the evolving world
  • documenting technology projects I’m working on, what I’m building, buying, etc.
  • home improvement and renovations progress?
  • personal life updates
  • travel highlights, if and when Americans can leave the country again.

I’ll try to keep everything tagged and categorized in appropriately for the small handful of people that might choose to read this.
